Emergency services are currently responding to a two-car collision that occurred on the Old Hume Highway at Camden Bypass in Sydney's south-west before 11:30 AM today.

The Old Hume Highway is currently closed in both directions at the intersection with Camden Bypass due to a two-car collision. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Traffic Closures and Diversions

The Old Hume Highway is completely closed in both directions at its intersection with the Camden Bypass. All traffic is being redirected. Drivers should use Burragorang Road and Cawdor Road as alternative routes. Additionally, the right-hand turn from Camden Bypass onto Old Hume Highway northbound is also closed.

Extended Closure Expected

Transport for NSW has stated that ongoing police investigations are anticipated to require a significant amount of time. As a result, the highway is expected to remain closed for an extended period while emergency and traffic crews work at the scene. Motorists have been strongly advised to avoid the affected area.
