Adelaide Crows Internal Trial in Port Augusta

The Adelaide Crows are set to host an internal trial match at Central Oval in Port Augusta this Friday afternoon, marking the conclusion of their community camp in the region. This significant event follows a period of engagement where players visited local schools and participated in the Club's STEM Footy program across the Upper Spencer Gulf.

The trial is structured to provide a comprehensive test for the players, with two teams competing across four 20-minute quarters. Coaches will be present to meticulously oversee game time and manage scores throughout the match.

This internal trial is designed not only to connect with regional supporters but also to serve as a crucial preparatory step for the team ahead of the upcoming season.

Event Significance and Fan Engagement

Adam Kelly, Executive General Manager of Football, reiterated the club's commitment to its regional fanbase by choosing Port Augusta as the trial venue. Kelly underscored the trial's critical importance for the team's preparation, highlighting it as a prime opportunity to evaluate players' physical readiness and the integration of the team's game plan.

The trial is scheduled to kick off at 4pm. For supporters unable to attend Central Oval, the entire match will be live streamed on the Adelaide Crows' official website and app. Following the conclusion of the game, fans will have the opportunity to engage with the players during a post-match signing session.
