Police Dismantle Large-Scale Cannabis Farm in Southern NSW
Police in southern New South Wales have dismantled a large-scale cannabis farm. The operation, located at Niemur, 80 kilometers north-west of Deniliquin, involved approximately 5,000 plants with an estimated value of up to $10 million.

- The farm was detected through aerial surveillance.
- A raid was conducted on the 306-hectare property.
- Plants were concealed within a dense forest area.
- Following cataloging and photography, the plants were destroyed on site by burning, with assistance from the Rural Fire Service.
Arrests and Charges
- Two men in their 40s and two women in their 60s were arrested at the property.
- They were charged with cultivating and possessing a large commercial quantity of a prohibited plant.
- All four individuals were refused bail and are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
