The NRL also recognized the stories, traditions, and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands where its events and activities take place.
Canberra Raiders Statement
Separately, the Canberra Raiders club also issued a statement acknowledging and respecting the Traditional Custodians of the land. The club extended its respects to Elders, both past, present, and future. This statement additionally recognized the stories, traditions, and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands where the team meets, gathers, and plays.
