Lisa, the Thai artist known from Blackpink, and David Bernad, executive producer of The White Lotus, are set to collaborate on a new romantic comedy for Netflix. Katie Silberman is penning the script for the project.
Bernad and Lisa developed the concept for the romantic comedy while on the set of The White Lotus.
Project Development
They subsequently engaged Silberman to write the script.
Bernad will produce the film under his Middle Child Productions banner. Silberman, who holds an exclusive, multi-year creative partnership with Netflix, will also produce. Alice Kang and Lisa are credited as executive producers.

Lisa recently made her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3. She is also working on her first major film role in TYGO, part of Netflix’s Extraction universe. Her solo debut in 2021 was with LALISA, and she released the album Alter Ego, which reached number seven on the Billboard 200.
Katie Silberman
Katie Silberman wrote Netflix’s "Set It Up". She also co-wrote and produced "Booksmart", which earned WGA and BAFTA nominations for Best Original Screenplay.
David Bernad
David Bernad is a producer whose Middle Child Productions is preparing the fourth season of The White Lotus. His other works include the series Jury Duty and the Netflix comedy Little Brother.
