Ziga Sesko has etched his name in history, becoming the first Slovenian to claim a junior boys’ singles Grand Slam title at the Australian Open 2026. The rising star secured his momentous victory with a 4-6 6-3 6-4 win over Keaton Hance.

Sesko Reflects on Dream Achievement

Following his groundbreaking success, Sesko shared his elation regarding the win.

“Winning a grand slam is, I think, what every kid is dreaming of. To be able to actually achieve it … I don't even feel it now, but I'm sure tomorrow or later on I will feel very, very special.”
