Indicators of Lake Contamination Identified
Observations within a lake environment have revealed several significant indicators of water contamination.
Key Observations
A boat being removed from the lake was found to display oil stains.
The lake water itself exhibited varied coloration. It frequently appeared murky green due to cyanobacteria, and was at times stained black.
Further observations included an oil slick visible on the water's surface. Direct contact with the water also resulted in oil residue being left on a hand.
