The FIU-Florida Heart Research Foundation Center for Innovation in Cardiovascular Health
The new facility, officially named the FIU-Florida Heart Research Foundation Center for Innovation in Cardiovascular Health, is made possible by an $11.7 million investment from the Florida Heart Research Foundation.
This center will foster collaboration among professionals from a diverse range of disciplines, including biomedical engineering, medicine, artificial intelligence, computer science, public health, nursing, and the biological sciences. The primary objective of the FIU-Florida Heart Research Foundation Center for Innovation in Cardiovascular Health is to identify the underlying factors contributing to cardiovascular disease and to translate these discoveries into improved patient care in Florida and other regions.
