Bluey Tops U.S. Streaming Charts for Second Consecutive Year

The Australian animated series Bluey has achieved remarkable success, topping the United States streaming charts for the second consecutive year. This recognition comes from Nielsen's ARTEY awards, highlighting the show's continued popularity.

Bluey recorded an impressive 45.2 billion viewing minutes. Following closely was the medical drama Grey's Anatomy, which secured second place with 40.9 billion minutes. The sci-fi hit Stranger Things rounded out the top three, accumulating 40 billion streams.

Bluey has topped the United States streaming charts for the second consecutive year.

Nielsen's streaming insights indicate a significant surge in overall audience engagement. Audiences collectively streamed an estimated 16.7 trillion minutes, marking a substantial 19 percent increase compared to 2024. This made it the most heavily streamed year on record.

ARTEY Awards

A total of eight titles received ARTEY awards this year. The event also saw the introduction of a new category, Streaming Icon of the Year.

The inaugural Streaming Icon of the Year award was presented to Seth MacFarlane. His recognition was based on his contributions to various productions, including his roles in Family Guy, American Dad!, The Naked Gun, Ted, Ted 2, and A Million Ways to Die in the West.
