Len Cariou Joins "Boston Blue," Reuniting with Donnie Wahlberg

Len Cariou, known for his role as Henry Reagan, is scheduled to appear in CBS' "Boston Blue," a spin-off of "Blue Bloods." This marks his first appearance on the new series, reuniting him with Donnie Wahlberg. Bridget Moynahan is also slated for a second appearance later in Season 1.

Casting Updates Revealed

Donnie Wahlberg announced the casting updates during a virtual panel hosted by the Television Critics Association.

TVLine has confirmed that Cariou will guest-star in Episode 13, set to air in April. Moynahan, who previously appeared in the pilot episode, will return in Episode 17, airing in May. Additionally, Marisa Ramirez will appear as Detective Maria Baez in Episode 15, also airing in April.

Plot Implications

Wahlberg stated that the appearances of these characters are connected to Danny Reagan's decision to join the Boston Police Department, a plot point introduced in Episode 9, which impacts other characters' storylines.
