AAA Announces Return of Rey de Reyes Tournament

AAA announced the return of the Rey de Reyes tournament.

Penta's Involvement and Event Details

Penta, a former winner of the Rey de Reyes tournament, will be present to hand the ceremonial sword to this year's champion. The event is scheduled for March 14 in Puebla, Mexico. Penta is currently recovering from a shoulder injury.

Qualifier Matches Set

The tournament will feature four fatal four-way qualifier matches, with the winners advancing to the finale. The first announced qualifier includes Jack Cartwheel, Aerostar, Apollo Crews, and La Parka. Contestants for the remaining qualifiers have not yet been disclosed.

Prize: Championship Match Opportunity

In addition to receiving a ceremonial sword, the winner of the Rey de Reyes tournament will earn a championship match for the AAA Mega Championship. The AAA Mega Championship is currently held by Dominik Mysterio.
