Sydney Swans Midfielder Taylor Adams Assaulted in Rose Bay

Sydney Swans midfielder Taylor Adams was reportedly assaulted and knocked unconscious in Rose Bay on Saturday night. The incident, which occurred across the street from the Club Rose Bay venue, saw the 32-year-old allegedly punched in the face by one of two unknown men.

Police were called to Vickery Avenue, Rose Bay, just after 10pm. According to police reports, Adams was involved in an argument and subsequent assault with two men.

Adams was allegedly punched in the face by one of the men, causing a small cut to his cheek, and was briefly unconscious after falling to the ground.

The assailants left the scene before police arrived and are not known to Adams. Inquiries are ongoing.

Adams was taken to St Vincent's Hospital for treatment by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was released early Sunday morning.

The Sydney Swans confirmed Adams was the victim of the incident, stating he will be monitored daily. The club also indicated it is working with Adams and NSW Police to identify the offender.

The club also reiterated that it does not tolerate violence.

Adams is currently recovering from a partial Achilles tear sustained during pre-season training last month. He joined the Swans in 2024 after a decade with Collingwood.
