James Gunn has revealed the first footage of Jason Momoa portraying the antihero Lobo in the upcoming film "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow."

Footage posted to Instagram shows Momoa, complete with fangs, stating "Finally" before an official look at Lobo in the movie is presented.

"Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" features Milly Alcock as the titular hero, Kara Zor-El. This film is the second installment in James Gunn and Peter Safran's rebooted DC Universe, following the 2025 release of "Superman."

Craig Gillespie directed the film, with a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, based on the DC comics series by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hill and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle.

Momoa's casting as Lobo was announced in December 2024, following his previous statements expressing interest in the role.

"Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" is scheduled to be released on June 26.
