West Coast Eagles Player Tyler Brockman Charged Over Alleged Assault

West Coast Eagles player Tyler Brockman has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an alleged incident in Geraldton.

Police allege that at approximately 3:50 AM on Sunday, December 28, Brockman struck a man in his late teens in the Drummond Cove suburb of Geraldton. The alleged victim sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, which reportedly included a broken jaw.

The West Coast Eagles club issued a statement indicating they are providing support to Brockman and are in the process of gathering all relevant information. The club stated they are unable to provide further comment at this time.

Brockman is scheduled to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on February 19. He began his career with Hawthorn before being recruited by the West Coast Eagles prior to the 2024 season.
