Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan Addresses Quarterback Situation

View source

Dolphins General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan stated at a Thursday press conference that the team faces a significant question regarding its quarterback position. Sullivan did not provide specific answers during the press conference.

Tua Tagovailoa was benched in favor of Quinn Ewers during the final weeks of the season. Tagovailoa remains under contract and is guaranteed $54 million.

Sullivan indicated that the Dolphins do not currently have a definitive plan for the quarterback position, stating that it would be premature to make any pronouncements.

Sullivan expressed respect for Tua Tagovailoa, describing him as a "good football player" who has "accomplished a lot in this league." Sullivan also stated that it would be "unfair and irresponsible" to discuss specific player plans publicly before communicating directly with the involved players.
