Netflix has unveiled its comprehensive Korean content lineup for 2026, comprising 33 new and returning films and series. The announcement, made from Seoul, highlighted that Korean content remains the most-watched non-English content on the streaming platform. Over the past five years, more than 210 Korean titles have achieved a global top 10 ranking.The 2026 slate features a diverse range of genres, from romantic comedies to superhero dramas, alongside returning seasons of popular unscripted and scripted hits.

Key Series Highlights

New scripted series include:

  • Boyfriend on Demand: A romantic comedy starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo.
  • The Wonderfools: A superhero drama featuring Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo, set in 1999.
  • The East Palace: An action-fantasy drama with Nam Joo-hyuk, set in the Joseon court.
  • The Scandal: A period romance starring Son Ye-jin and Ji Chang-wook.
  • Tantara: A series set in the 1960s-’80s Korean entertainment industry, written by Noh Hee-gyoung and starring Song Hye-kyo and Gong Yoo.
  • Can This Love Be Translated?: A romantic comedy from the Hong Sisters, starring Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung.
  • No Tail to Tell: A romantic comedy with Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon.
