Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series Launch: Models, Specifications, and Pricing

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Book 6 series in South Korea, following an initial announcement at CES 2026.

The lineup consists of three models: the Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. These are the first Samsung laptops to feature 18A (1.8nm) chips and Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 3 processors (formerly Panther Lake).

Sales in South Korea begin January 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM KST. A spring launch is planned for the US market.

Models and Pricing

Galaxy Book 6 Pro

Available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, in Gray and Silver.

• 14-inch model: KRW 3,410,000 (~$2,305 to ~$2,434)
• 16-inch model: KRW 3,410,000 to KRW 3,510,000 (~$2,353 to ~$2,420)

A comparison with the previous Galaxy Book 5 Pro shows a price increase of approximately US$477 for a comparable configuration.

Galaxy Book 6 Ultra

Available in a 16-inch size only, in Gray, with two GPU options:

• Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU: KRW 4,630,000 (~$3,129 to ~$3,204)
• Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU: KRW 4,930,000 (~$3,332 to ~$3,405)

Galaxy Book 6 Edge

A separate model listed by German retailer Cyberport (per WinFuture). This is a single 16-inch model powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.

Display

Pro and Ultra models feature QD-OLED displays with 3K resolution (2,880 x 1,800), a variable 120Hz refresh rate, and peak HDR brightness of up to 1,000 nits. They are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-reflective coating.

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge features a 16-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and refresh rate, but a peak brightness of 500 nits and a matte finish (no touch).

Battery & Weight

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge is reported to be 12.3 mm thick.

Connectivity

• Pro & Ultra: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Type-A, 3.5mm audio jack.
• Edge: Two USB Type-C 4.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A, microSD card slot.

Audio & Input

• Galaxy Book 6 Ultra: Six-speaker system (four woofers, two tweeters)
• Galaxy Book 6 Pro (14-inch): Quad-speaker system (two tweeters, two woofers)
• All Pro and Ultra models feature centrally aligned large haptic trackpads, backlit keyboards, a 2MP webcam, and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.

Cooling

Both the Pro and Ultra models feature a redesigned cooling system with a new fan design and an improved vapor chamber.
