In November 2021, an incident occurred at Bright Future Early Learning Belconnen.
A boy, who had acted aggressively towards another child, was reportedly yelled at by a staff member and subsequently placed in a bathroom.
The regulator conducted an investigation into the incident. The investigation concluded that the educator's actions were deemed "unreasonable in the circumstances." Consequently, the educator received a caution letter, and Bright Future Early Learning Belconnen was issued a compliance notice.
