Musician Tim McGraw is scheduled to headline the entertainment for the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series™ outdoor game. The event will feature the Tampa Bay Lightning® and the Boston Bruins®.
The game will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on February 1, 2026. This will be the first time an outdoor NHL game is played in a football stadium in Florida. Live coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN in the U.S., and on Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada, as well as via NHL in ASL.
McGraw will perform during the first intermission. He is a GRAMMY® Award-winning artist with over 106 million records sold worldwide and 49 number one singles. He is also an author and actor, with roles in films such as Friday Night Lights and The Blind Side, and the television series 1883.
Limited tickets for the game are available through Ticketmaster. The event is part of a month-long outdoor hockey celebration in Florida, which began with the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic game between the Florida Panthers™ and New York Rangers® in Miami. That game marked the first-ever outdoor hockey game in Florida.
For the NHL Stadium Series, the League will construct a regulation-size rink inside a steel-framed, air-conditioned structure to protect it from the elements. This structure, measuring 34 feet high, 125 feet wide, and 240 feet long, will be removed before the game. McGraw's performance will occur on a stage adjacent to the rink. Further details on game presentation and entertainment plans will be announced.
