View source

The St. Louis Blues will play the Carolina Hurricanes without Philip Broberg and Robert Thomas. The game is scheduled for Tuesday night at Enterprise Center. ## Player Status Updates * Philip Broberg: The defenseman is in concussion protocol and is considered day-to-day. He exited the previous game against Vegas after sustaining a hit from Mark Stone. Head Coach Jim Montgomery reported Broberg is "doing well." * Robert Thomas: The forward is also listed as day-to-day due to a re-aggravated injury. Thomas did not participate in Monday's practice or Tuesday's morning skate. * Nick Bjugstad: Forward Nick Bjugstad is set to return to the lineup after missing 15 games since December 9 with an upper-body injury. He will skate on the third line alongside Pavel Buchnevich and Jonatan Berggren. Coach Jim Montgomery noted Bjugstad's return will contribute "heaviness," "another right-shot center to take faceoffs," and "another guy who can penalty kill."
