Carloway Football Club on the Isle of Lewis has initiated a project to transform an overgrown area into a new training pitch. The development is supported by £22,000 in capital grant funding provided by NHS Western Isles.
According to Carloway Football Club, the green space, situated next to its main pitch, will be used for both team exercises and broader community activities.
NHS Western Isles affirmed that the grant aims to provide a safe and accessible facility for individuals across all age groups. The club anticipates that the enhanced facility will benefit its junior and senior teams, including a newly formed over 40s side.
