Meta has announced the appointment of Dina Powell McCormick as its president and vice chairman. The company stated that Powell McCormick will join its management team, where she will be responsible for guiding strategy and execution.
Powell McCormick previously served on Meta's board of directors. She joined the board in April and resigned in December of the previous year, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg issued a statement regarding the appointment, noting that Powell McCormick's experience in global finance and her international relationships are expected to support Meta's continued growth.
