Spanish skier Ares Masip encountered an avalanche on Pic de l'Hortell, a mountain located in Andorra. The event was documented by Masip's own footage.
Masip was accompanied by her dog, Cim, during the incident.
Following the event, Masip stated on Instagram that it provided a personal lesson. She noted her familiarity with the area and her previous assessment that it would be safe. Masip also affirmed that 'risk 0 simply doesn't exist.'
