Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang delivered a keynote address at the Sphere on January 6 as part of CES 2026, following Delta Air Lines' previous keynote at the venue. The event, titled "Lenovo Tech World @ CES 2026," introduced new personal agentic AI technology, upgraded Motorola smartphones, wearables, an expanded portfolio of AI PCs, and inferencing servers. It also showcased AI capabilities designed for FIFA, Formula 1, and the entertainment sector.
The keynote highlighted Lenovo’s extensive network of partners. Global tech leaders, including NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, and AMD chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su, joined Yang on stage. Sphere Entertainment Co. president and COO Jennifer Koester and FIFA president Gianni Infantino also participated. Over 10,000 people were in attendance.
During the almost two-hour presentation, a lagging livestream was observed, but no other major technical issues occurred. The company's product announcements and partnerships were displayed on the Sphere’s 160,000-square-foot screen using advanced visuals and immersive sound, all powered by Lenovo's technology. A haptic video experience of the Hungarian Grand Prix demonstrated the company's partnership with Formula 1, and an immersive video displayed global sights, concluding with a view from the International Space Station.
Lenovo CTO Tolga Kurtoglu demonstrated an AI agent assisting with speech writing, and an audience demonstration of AI-controlled lighting and sound provided a multi-directional audio experience. A soccer pitch lit up the screen, referencing Lenovo’s partnership with FIFA.
Lenovo's technology is fully integrated into Sphere Studios’ production workflows and operations. This includes high-performance workstations and infrastructure platforms, with hundreds of Lenovo ThinkSystem SR655 V3 servers, powered by AMD EPYC processors and NVIDIA accelerated computing, supporting the venue's immersive experiences.
