This includes Sunday Night Baseball, the revival of MLB Sunday Leadoff, a special all-day Star-Spangled Sunday showcase on July 5, and the Wild Card round of the MLB playoffs.
The coverage will commence with an Opening Day doubleheader on March 26. This features the Pittsburgh Pirates against the New York Mets, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Dodgers' game will be the sole primetime MLB game on Opening Day and is among 27 primetime MLB games scheduled across NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN for 2026.
Sunday Night Baseball will launch on March 29 with the Seattle Mariners hosting the Cleveland Guardians. The 18-game MLB Sunday Leadoff schedule is slated to begin on May 3, featuring the Toronto Blue Jays visiting the Minnesota Twins. On July 5, all 15 MLB games will be nationally broadcast across Peacock and NBC as part of the Star-Spangled Sunday event.
NBC Sports will also stream one out-of-market game daily on Peacock throughout the 2026 MLB season. Telemundo Deportes will provide Spanish-language broadcasts for all NBCUniversal-produced MLB games, with Universo televising games aired on NBC.
