The 31st Critics Choice Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday night. The event will be hosted by Chelsea Handler, marking her fourth consecutive year in this role.
New Categories Introduced
The Critics Choice organization has incorporated four additional categories into this year's awards structure. These new categories include:
- Best Variety Series
- Stunt Design
- Casting/Ensemble
- Sound
Leading Nominees
"Sinners" has received the highest number of nominations, totaling 17. "One Battle After Another" follows with 14 nominations. Both "Hamnet" and "Frankenstein" have each garnered 11 nominations.
Broadcast Information
The ceremony will be broadcast live from Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar on E! and USA. The list of 2026 Critics Choice film and television nominees will be updated as announcements are made during the live broadcast.
