South Eastern Freeway Motorcycle Incident
At approximately 4:00 AM this morning, a single motorcycle was involved in a collision on the South Eastern Freeway, located just past the Crafers off-ramp in Crafers West, Adelaide.
Emergency services, including Major Crash investigators, responded to the scene. All city-bound lanes of the freeway were closed for several hours following the incident. Traffic was subsequently diverted at Stirling and through Blackwood.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene. All affected freeway lanes have since been reopened.
An individual reported significant traffic congestion on the freeway before 6:00 AM, observing a backlog extending approximately 2 kilometers from Stirling.
Parkside Pedestrian Collision
Separately, police are investigating an incident involving a pedestrian on Unley Road in Parkside, Adelaide's inner-south. The collision occurred at approximately 6:20 PM on Sunday.
A 28-year-old male was struck by a utility vehicle. Emergency services transported the man to a hospital, where his condition is reported as critical but stable.
The driver of the utility vehicle was not injured in the incident and is assisting police with the ongoing investigation.
