Mega-Mansion Sale: Hawkins and Wall’s Whale Beach Project Closes at $30 Million

The cliff-top property, completed after five years of construction, has been purchased via a shelf company for $30 million.

The mega-mansion built at Whale Beach by model Jen Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall has settled at $30 million, approximately five years after construction began.

Key Details

  • Location: The property is situated on Rayner Rd.
  • Caveat: A caveat on title dated Christmas Eve 2021 revealed a put and call option to a mystery potential buyer.
  • Exchange: Cotality records indicate the property was officially exchanged in April 2024.
  • Buyer: The buyer, Rayner Property Pty Ltd, a shelf company, became co-financier of the project and has NAB finance for the purchase.
  • Mystery: Realestate.com.au reported in September that a company owned by neighbor David Appleby had taken out the caveat, but it is unknown if Rayner Property Pty Ltd is the same organization.
  • Occupancy: The buyer's identity will be revealed when they take occupancy.
