Functionality and Features
Project Motoko is designed to provide contextual information about the surrounding environment. During a demonstration, the device successfully translated a Japanese menu into English. Additional functionalities showcased included identifying item costs, comparing them to available funds, providing weather updates, and offering turn-by-turn navigation.
AI Integration and Connectivity
The headphones are compatible with multiple AI assistants, allowing users to select between platforms such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Meta AI. While some basic functions operate natively, more complex tasks requiring internet access necessitate pairing Project Motoko with a smartphone or computer.
Form Factor and Current Status
Visually, Project Motoko headphones resemble standard wireless headphones. As a concept device, Razer has not announced plans for commercial release or pricing information. Development of the project is ongoing.
