SAN FRANCISCO – The Golden State Warriors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 120-113 on Wednesday night at Chase Center. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds. This included a step-back three-pointer made with 26 seconds remaining in the game.
Additional contributions for the Warriors came from De’Anthony Melton, who scored 22 points off the bench, and Jimmy Butler, who added 21 points and five rebounds. Al Horford contributed eight points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Curry made 12 of 21 field goal attempts, including three three-pointers. Draymond Green also registered 14 points and seven assists.
For the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 34 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Kevin Porter Jr. contributed 15 points, nine assists, and four rebounds. Antetokounmpo converted 15 of 22 field goals but made only two of seven free throws.
The Warriors led by as many as 17 points in the third quarter. The Bucks reduced the deficit to 10 points following an Antetokounmpo layup with 4:38 left in the game. Golden State made 18 three-pointers and held a 53-42 rebounding advantage over Milwaukee.
This game resulted in a split of the season series between the two teams. Milwaukee had previously secured a 120-110 victory at home on October 30. The Bucks have now lost six consecutive games at the Warriors' home venue, with the last win occurring on January 8, 2020.
Looking ahead, the Bucks are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, while the Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.
