Lenovo Unveils Yoga Mini i Compact PC at CES
Introduction
Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Mini i, a new compact personal computer, at CES. This device is positioned as a Windows-based option in the mini PC market.
Design and Connectivity
The Yoga Mini i features a circular design and weighs approximately 1.3 pounds, with slight variations based on configuration. It is finished in a silvery-gray texture. Connectivity options are distributed on the device's rear and side.
The rear panel includes an Ethernet port, one USB-A port, one HDMI port, and three USB-C ports. One USB-C port is dedicated to power input, another supports Thunderbolt 4 accessories, and the third serves general data transfer. The side of the device is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and an additional Thunderbolt 4 port.
The power button is located on the side of the device and integrates a fingerprint reader for user authentication.
Specifications
Internally, the Yoga Mini i is equipped with Intel Core Ultra X series AI chips. It supports configurations with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. The device includes a WiFi 7 adapter for network connectivity, two integrated speakers, and a built-in microphone, enhancing its communication and internet-related functionalities. These specifications are designed to support productivity tasks.
Additional Features
The Yoga Mini i incorporates an accelerometer and a touch sensor, enabling its integration with Lenovo's Smart Connect ecosystem. This functionality allows for user interactions such as answering calls by tapping the PC, adjusting performance modes through specific touch gestures, and activating customizable actions like launching an AI chatbot with a double-tap.
