The Strawberry Moon Will Rise Over South-Central Pennsylvania Monday Night
Named for the ripening season of strawberries, the first full moon of summer 2025 is set to appear in the sky over south-central Pennsylvania on Monday evening.
Appearance
The moon will not actually appear pink. It may take on a reddish or orange hue when it is low on the horizon, particularly during moonrise or moonset.
Timing
The moon will reach its full phase at 7:56 p.m. Monday.
