The 2025 BET Awards: Everything You Need to Know
Druski, at 31, becomes the youngest host in BET Awards history.
The 2025 BET Awards are scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 22, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, airing live at 8 p.m. EDT. Comedian Druski will host the ceremony, surpassing Kevin Hart, who hosted in 2011.
Nominees
Cardi B leads this year's nominations with six. Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist each received five nominations. Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto each received four nominations.

- Living Legend Icon Award: Lauryn Hill, recognized for her work with the Fugees and her solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."
- Icon of the Year Award: Teyana Taylor, recognized for contributions across music, acting, directing, producing, and choreography.
- Ultimate Icon Award: Sylvia Rhone, a music executive and the first Black woman to lead a major record company owned by a Fortune 500 corporation.
