Incident
A duck boat operated by Boston Duck Tours overturned on Saturday at a boat ramp in Cambridge, Massachusetts, near the entrance to the Charles River. The boat rolled onto its side when the tow-rope broke while being towed.
No passengers entered the water.
Six people sustained injuries, two of which were classified as "more serious" and the rest minor. All passengers have been accounted for.
Response
Cambridge Police, Fire, Massachusetts State Police, and the Marine Unit responded to the scene. Boston Duck Tours suspended operations for the remainder of the day and stated that they are cooperating with the Massachusetts State Police and the U.S. Coast Guard in the investigation.

Duck boats are replica WWII amphibious vehicles used for sightseeing tours in Boston. They have also been used for victory parades for local sports teams.
