The New York Giants have initiated the interview process for their vacant head coach position.
Former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski met with Giants officials on Tuesday. A subsequent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday to continue discussions regarding the head coaching role. Stefanski was relieved of his duties by the Browns on Monday following six seasons as their head coach. Other National Football League teams, including the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans, have also reportedly expressed interest in interviewing Stefanski for their respective head coach openings.
Reports on Wednesday confirmed that the Giants have scheduled an interview with former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy for next week. The organization is also reportedly considering former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. Additional individuals linked to the vacancy this week include Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, and Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
