Lenovo has announced the ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist laptop at CES 2026. This 14-inch device features a motorized pivoting hinge designed to automatically adjust the screen's angle.

The laptop's motorized hinge allows the screen to twist and angle towards the user. It can be controlled manually or automatically, utilizing head tracking to adjust based on the user's position or posture. This functionality enables the screen to track a user during presentations within a defined area. The device also incorporates a "knock-to-open" feature, where a tap on the closed lid initiates automatic opening.

An integrated AI companion software, characterized as emoji-like, is included. This software is designed to track user movement and react to user actions. Additionally, the Auto Twist supports live language translation, which involves the screen turning to display content for each speaker.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist is equipped with a 14-inch OLED touchscreen display featuring a 2880 x 1800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports stylus input. The laptop weighs 3.09 pounds (1.4 kg) and is powered by Intel Panther Lake processors.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist is scheduled for release in June, with a starting price of $1,649.
