Prince George to Attend Eton College in September 2025
Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince George, second in line to the British throne, will attend Eton College beginning in September 2025. He will conclude his studies at Lambrook School on July 4, 2025. Prince George will turn 13 on July 22, 2025.
School Details
Eton College is a fee-paying boarding school located in Berkshire, England, that educates boys aged 13 to 18. The school accepts approximately 270 students per academic year. Full boarding is mandatory, with tuition for the 2025/26 academic year set at £63,298.80 (approximately $84,900).
The school is located less than a 15-minute drive from the Wales family's home, Forest Lodge, in Windsor Great Park.
Family and School History
Prince George will follow in the footsteps of his father, Prince William, and his uncle, Prince Harry, who both attended Eton. Notable alumni include 20 of the United Kingdom's 58 prime ministers, including Boris Johnson and David Cameron.
The selection of a single-sex school ends speculation that Prince George might attend Marlborough College, a co-educational school where his mother, Catherine, Princess of Wales, was educated.
Siblings' Education
Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will continue their education at Lambrook School. Kensington Palace has stated that plans for their future high school education will be announced at a later date.
