The second release candidate for Minecraft Java Edition version 26.2 is now available. This update addresses two critical issues discovered in the previous release candidate.
Fixed Bugs
- MC-308731: Under specific conditions, a survival player could become stuck in a hole with a sulfur cube.
- Respawn delay issue: Respawn time was significantly increased when spawning at the height limit.
Testing versions may corrupt worlds; backup is recommended.
