The NASA Hubble Space Telescope captured an image of the galaxy cluster MACS0329-0211.
The cluster contains various galaxy types, including elliptical, spiral, and lenticular galaxies. Gravitational lensing effects are visible, producing arcs and distorted shapes from more distant galaxies.
The observation was part of a program studying X-ray bright galaxy clusters, using Hubble's Advanced Camera for Surveys and Wide Field Camera 3 to collect data in visible and infrared light.
