Former NFL Star LeSean McCoy Blasts Vikings QB Kyler Murray: "Overrated and Unreliable"

"I hate a super cocky, arrogant player that's not that good, that's a little above average. That is Kyler Murray."

Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy delivered a sharp critique of Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray during a recent appearance on the Speakeasy podcast. McCoy did not hold back, labeling the former No. 1 overall pick as overrated, unreliable, and unable to read defensive coverages.

"He can't read coverages," McCoy stated, adding that Murray is "not dependable" as a franchise quarterback.

The segment began with fabricated statistics sourced from a satirical social media account, which were then followed by a clip of Murray complaining about splitting practice reps. This context appeared to fuel McCoy's criticism of the quarterback's attitude.

Murray, a former No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, has had an inconsistent seven-year career with the Arizona Cardinals. His tenure includes just one playoff appearance and two Pro Bowl selections. He now plays for the Minnesota Vikings, where he is expected to compete for a starting role.
