United States Launches Second Wave of Strikes Against Iran

The U.S. military has initiated another round of strikes targeting multiple locations in Iran, according to US Central Command.

CENTCOM Statement
The command stated via social media that the operation is in response to what it described as Iran's continued aggression. The strikes follow a previous round of U.S. military action conducted a day earlier, after a U.S. Army helicopter crash near the Strait of Hormuz. President Donald Trump attributed that crash to Iran.

Reported Explosions
Iranian state media reported explosions in several locations across the country:

  • Bandar Abbas: Multiple explosions were reported near the airport.
  • Gorgan: Explosions were heard in the port area.
  • Sirik: Press TV reported that a location was hit by "enemy projectiles."
