Historical Overview of Kings Avenue Bridge Area Development

A detour is presently required at the Kings Avenue Bridge. Approximately 60 years ago, the area currently occupied by the lake did not feature a body of water. Following the construction of the bridges, the designated lake site remained a wide, open area characterized by dust. This condition persisted for several months, awaiting the conclusion of a drought.
