The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) announced on Wednesday a recall of two Nature's Own supplements due to potential glass contamination. The products are manufactured by Sanofi Consumer Healthcare.
Affected Products
- Nature's Own Glucosamine Sulfate with Chondroitin (320-pack)
- Batch number: 1662937
- Expiry: April 2028
- Nature's Own Magnesium Glycinate 1150mg (300-pack)
- Batch number: 1665576
- Expiry: April 2028
Both products have been on sale since May 7, 2026, at retailers including Chemist Warehouse, Priceline Pharmacy, TerryWhite Chemmart, and independent stores.
Risk and Consumer Action
According to the TGA, glass may be present inside the bottles but not in the tablets. There is a risk of cuts when handling the product, or harm if accidentally swallowed.
Consumers should check batch numbers and expiry dates. Affected products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
