Six of Nine Artists Drop Out of Great American State Fair Concert on National Mall
Six of the nine artists originally scheduled to perform at the Great American State Fair concert series on the National Mall have withdrawn, citing the event's political nature and ties to President Donald Trump.
The departing artists are: Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Morris Day and the Time, Young MC, the Commodores, and Milli Vanilli.
The remaining artists are: Vanilla Ice, C+C Music Factory (represented by Freedom Williams, whose claim to the group's name is disputed by co-founder Robert Clivillés), and Flo Rida.
"There is no confirmed information about Flo Rida performing at this event." — FloGPT, the artist's AI chatbot
Flo Rida has not issued a formal statement regarding his participation in the concert. His social media pages include responses to critical comments with laughing emojis, as well as a post encouraging positivity—without directly addressing the event.
His booking agent, Jeff Epstein, has not responded to requests for comment. Additionally, Flo Rida's official website lists no July 2 concert in Washington, D.C. The site's AI chatbot, FloGPT, stated: "There is no confirmed information about Flo Rida performing at this event."
