Good Morning Britain Apologizes After Expletive Appears on Air

An expletive appeared in footage of singer Delta Goodrem's recent festival performance, briefly seen on an audience member's sign in the corner of the screen.

On June 2, Good Morning Britain inadvertently broadcast an expletive during a segment featuring Australian singer Delta Goodrem. The profanity was visible in concert footage from Goodrem’s performance at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival, appearing on a sign held by an audience member.

Viewers quickly flagged the error on social media, prompting a swift response from the program. In an official apology, the show stated:

"We’d like to apologise to any viewers offended by the accidental appearance of the expletive which was featured in concert footage. As soon as the error was discovered it was corrected and didn’t appear in the +1 and ITVX versions."

The footage was subsequently edited out of the interview on the streaming service ITVX.

Goodrem had appeared on the show following her performance representing Australia at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, where she placed fourth with her ballad "Eclipse."
