Jai Arrow to Honour Neale Daniher at Big Freeze Match

Retired NRL player Jai Arrow will toss the coin at Monday's King's Birthday AFL clash between Melbourne and Collingwood, in a tribute to the late Neale Daniher.

Arrow announced his motor neurone disease diagnosis in late May and returned from a neurological wellness retreat in Spain specifically for the event. The match marks the 12th edition of the Big Freeze fundraiser for FightMND.

Bobby Hill Returns to Training

Collingwood forward Bobby Hill returned to training on Wednesday after a leave of absence. Hill had been playing VFL since the birth of his third child last month. He has not played an AFL game since Round 21 last season.

Carlton Coach Search: No Deadline Set

Carlton has not set a deadline for appointing a new senior coach. The club's selection panel includes CEO Graham Wright, president Rob Priestley, football boss Chris Davies, and consultant Adam Simpson. Highly-rated assistant coaches are expected to be contacted first. Neither Carlton nor Essendon has reached out to John Longmire.
