Two stabbings and a vehicle ramming linked to single suspect in Melbourne's north and southeast

Victoria Police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for two separate stabbing incidents and a vehicle ramming that occurred in Epping and Dandenong North on Sunday.

Incident Timeline

First Incident — Epping
Police allege the man stabbed a male victim in his 40s at approximately 7:30 AM at a property on Bradman Terrace in Epping. The victim sustained non-life-threatening upper body injuries and was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Second Incident — Dandenong North
Approximately three hours later, at 10:15 AM, police allege the same man deliberately drove a silver Honda CRV into a house on Exner Street (also referred to as Exner Drive) in Dandenong North. He then exited the vehicle and stabbed a female occupant in her 30s. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Suspect Description and Status

The suspect is described as having an African appearance and was last seen wearing a brown shirt and black pants. He fled the second scene on foot and remains at large.

Police Investigation

Victoria Police have stated that both incidents appear to have been targeted. The suspect is believed to have known both victims. Authorities have urged the public not to approach the man and to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately if they see him.
