Nintendo Continues Switch 2 Backward Compatibility Updates
Since the previous report, Nintendo has released further patches to improve backward compatibility for Switch games on the new Switch 2 hardware.
Newly Updated Titles
The following games have received compatibility updates:
- Buddy Collection if
- Dragon Quest Builders
- Laysara: Summit Kingdom
- Monster Hunter Stories
- Neon Inferno
- Overcooked: All You Can Eat
- This is Fine: Maximum Cope
- Top Cop: Police Training
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Identified Issues
Three games still exhibit specific problems on Switch 2:
- Ghost Master: Resurrection – Game progression issues in the Walls of Judgment DLC.
- Grandia HD Collection – Slowdown in some areas.
- Resident Evil 5 – Audio problems in some areas.
Unsupported Games
The following titles remain classified as fully unsupported due to game progression issues that prevent completion:
- Attack on Titan 2
- Crypt Carnage
- Megadimension Neptunia 7
- Truck Simulator USA
These titles may receive future updates to restore functionality.
Nintendo has not provided a timeline for further patches, but the ongoing stream of fixes suggests continued support for the backward compatibility library.
