A 36-year-old woman from Wamboin, NSW, was arrested on Friday after staff at a Belconnen photo printing business discovered child abuse material she allegedly attempted to print.

On Wednesday afternoon, the woman attempted to print images at a store in Belconnen. The material failed to print due to a machine malfunction, and she received a refund before leaving. Staff later found multiple child exploitation images that had not printed and contacted police.

Arrest

On Friday afternoon, police stopped a vehicle in Holt and arrested the woman.

Charges

The woman faces a charge of aggravated possession of child exploitation material. She is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Investigation

ACT Policing stated that investigations are ongoing.
