Anker Launches Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank in Japan

The Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) is now available for pre-order in Japan, bringing a 10,000mAh capacity and Qi2 certification to a remarkably slim 15mm profile.

Anker has announced the release of the Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) in Japan, which was previously launched in China as the Anker Air+ Ultra Slim Magnetic Power Bank (model A1113). The device is available for pre-order on Anker's Japanese website for ¥11,990 (approximately $75), with shipping expected to begin in late June 2026.

"Standard lithium-ion cells offer better weight-to-capacity ratio and avoid potential airline travel restrictions or disposal issues associated with newer battery types."

  • Wireless Charging: Qi2 certification for up to 15W magnetic wireless charging
  • Compatibility: Compatible with iPhones from the 12 series onward running iOS 17.4 or later, excluding iPhone 12 mini, 13 mini, and 16e

Battery Technology

The power bank uses standard lithium-ion cells (referred to as Neo Lithium-Ion). Anker states that alternative battery types (solid-state, sodium-ion) are currently too heavy and bulky for portable power banks. According to Anker, standard lithium-ion cells offer better weight-to-capacity ratio and avoid potential airline travel restrictions or disposal issues associated with newer battery types.

Safety and Monitoring

The device is built with safety and longevity in mind:

  • Uses ATL cells and a fire-resistant chassis
  • Includes aluminum alloy heat dissipation layer and high-density graphene for thermal management
  • Internal battery management system logs voltage and cell data
  • Battery health and estimated replacement time can be checked via Anker mobile app, requiring USB-C cable connection to a phone
